Good morning, distinguished guests, the Founder of Jemitim Foundation, Prof. Mrs. Jemimah Ekanem, the Scholarship Board Chairman, Engr. Yireobong Akpaba, members of the Foundation, my fellow awardees, ladies and gentlemen.

My name is Miss Shammah Daniel Okon, and I am deeply honoured to stand before you today as a recipient of the Jemitim Foundation Scholarship Award for the 2025/2026 Cycle.

I sincerely appreciate the Founder and the entire Jemitim Foundation for believing in students like me and investing in our future. This scholarship is more than financial support; it is a source of encouragement that inspires me to pursue academic excellence with greater determination.

I am grateful to my parents, lecturers, mentors, and everyone who has supported me throughout my educational journey. Their guidance and sacrifices have contributed greatly to this achievement.

I promise to make the best use of this opportunity by remaining diligent in my studies, upholding integrity, and striving to become a positive influence in my community and beyond.

One day, I hope to give back to society just as the Jemitim Foundation is doing today by supporting and encouraging other young people to achieve their dreams.
