Good afternoon, everyone.

My name is Ruth Ezekiel-Hart from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Akwa Ibom State University.

Today is indeed a day of joy for me.

Firstly, I thank God Almighty, for it is by His grace, mercy, and favour that I am standing here today.

My sincere and heartfelt appreciation goes to the Jemitim Foundation for this great honour and opportunity.

And to the Founder, thank you for your vision, your generosity, and your commitment to girl-child education and academic excellence. You stand as a source of hope, inspiration, and support as we pursue our dreams.

I receive this scholarship today with gladness and gratitude. This opportunity serves as a source of hope to keep thriving, and as a responsibility to continue on this path of excellence.

And to my family, thank you for your love, prayers, unwavering support, and sacrifices.

To my friends, thank you for your encouragement.

To my teachers, thank you for your words of wisdom, direction, and for believing in me.

And to my fellow students, I encourage you to intentionally and relentlessly pursue excellence.
