Good day, distinguished Founder of the Jemitim Foundation, members of the Scholarship Board, esteemed guests, fellow awardees, ladies and gentlemen.

My name is Blessing Ita Umo, and I am deeply honored to be a recipient of the Jemitim Foundation 2025/2026 Scholarship and Sponsorship Award.

I sincerely express my heartfelt gratitude to the Jemitim Foundation for believing in my potential and investing in my future.

Receiving this scholarship is a great privilege and a reminder that excellence, hard work, and perseverance are recognized and rewarded.

As a Marine Science student at Akwa Ibom State University, I am passionate about environmental sustainability, marine conservation, leadership, and creating positive impact through education and service.

This scholarship will not only ease my financial responsibilities but will also encourage me to remain committed to academic excellence and community development.

I thank my parents, mentors, lecturers, and everyone who has supported me throughout my educational journey. Your encouragement has been invaluable, and I share this achievement with you.
