Good afternoon,

My name is Beracah Joel Eshiet, and I am a 300 Level student in the Department of Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture, Akwa Ibom State University.

Above all, I give thanks to God Almighty, whose faithfulness has brought me this far. I am deeply honored to stand here today as one of the recipients of the Jemitim Foundation Scholarship Award for the 300 Level category, 2025/2026 edition. This recognition means a great deal to me, and I do not take it for granted.

None of this would have been achievable without the constant support of my family and friends, whose belief in me pushed me to keep striving even when the journey felt demanding. I am also grateful to everyone whose hard work and dedication brought this occasion to life, and to a University that continues to invest in the aspirations of its students.

I want to once more thank the Jemitim Foundation for this honor. It is a moment I will carry with me and hold close for a long time to come.
